DJ Icey 'Different Day' The “King of the Breaks” returns with his first new artist album in five years!

As one of North America’s premier DJs and producer DJ Icey performs to over 125 devoted audiences a year, and has released over 200 12" singles out of his Orlando studio on several different imprints, most notably his own label – Zone Records.

In 1998, DJ Icey released his first artist album, ‘Generate’, which spawned the classics “This is How My Drummer Drums,” and “Not a Test.” Soon after, DJ Icey went on to release an Essential Mix CD as well as two other mix compilations, ‘Mixed’ and ‘Essential Elements’. All told, DJ Icey’s projects have Sound Scanned over 300,000 units in North America alone.

Fast forward to 2003 and DJ Icey is back with his new full-length artist album, ‘Different Day’. Known for his adept skill at embracing futuristic breakbeat interwoven with house sensibilities, while keeping the energy level peaking throughout, DJ Icey’s “can’t miss” style remains intact on ‘Different Day’. The 12 tracks range from the haunting, mid-tempo title track to the funkdified sounds of “A Little Louder,” to the aggressive “Freaks in the House,” and the beautiful vocal tracks “Searching” and “Dreams.”
